TS Group’s Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) is a versatile cellulose ether engineered for modern construction chemicals and coatings. As a water-soluble polymer, it ensures consistency, stability, and efficiency in dry-mix mortar systems. With benefits such as thickening, water retention, open time, wetting ability, and controlled delayed solubility, our HPMC grades guarantee reliable performance across tile adhesives, renders, EIFS, self-leveling compounds, and more.

Non-Modified HPMC

Our standard HPMC provides a balanced combination of viscosity, water retention, and thickening. It improves workability and consistency, making it ideal for:

  • Tile adhesives and cement-based mortars
  • Renders, plasters, and skim coats
  • Gypsum-based products

As a non-ionic polymer, it is compatible with other additives, allowing flexible formulations without complex adjustments.

Modified HPMC

Engineered for high-performance systems, our modified HPMC grades are tailored through optimized substitution levels and molecular structures. They deliver:

  • Extended open time for easier application on site
  • Superior water retention to optimize cement hydration
  • Improved wetting and adhesion for stronger bonding
  • Controlled delayed solubility for efficient dry-mix processing
  • Wide viscosity range for different mortar requirements

These grades are particularly effective in EIFS/ETICS, self-leveling compounds, and premium tile adhesives, where precision and durability are essential.

Recommended Applications

  • Tile adhesives
  • EIFS / ETICS systems
  • Renders & plasters
  • Skim coats
  • Self-leveling compounds

Whether for standard or advanced dry-mix formulations, TS Group’s HPMC grades provide the performance, consistency, and flexibility required in today’s construction industry. By choosing the right grade, formulators can optimize mortar efficiency, durability, and ease of application. Contact us to discuss which solution best suits your system.
